The True Fit™: Redesign the next stage of your fashion career

Take a clear step forward in your fashion career in this 12-week coaching programme designed for experienced women in the fashion industry who are ready to progress, pivot, or build something of your own in a way that actually fits who you are today.

You’ve built a career you’re proud of over the years, but something about where you are now just doesn’t feel quite right anymore.

For some, the relentless pace and pressure of the fashion industry have taken their toll over the years and have now become unsustainable.

For others, it’s reaching a level that you’ve worked so hard to get to but it feels flatter than you expected when you get there.

Or you know you’re capable of more, but it’s not clear what that actually looks like in practice.

You might be:

• Going for promotions, but not quite landing the roles and not sure why
• Unchallenged or disconnected from work that used to motivate you
• Navigating leadership, pressure, or complex team dynamics without space to think
• Questioning whether to stay, move, reshape your role, or finally start the business you’ve been thinking about for months

You’re still the same ambitious high achiever you’ve always been.

You want your next stage of your fashion career to fit the stage of your life you’re in now - not compete with it.

When something no longer fits:

What if it looked different instead?

🤍 You’ve reconnected with the work you love, and your fire is back.

🤍 You’ve set clear boundaries and maintain them in a way that feels natural, without damaging the relationships you’ve built.

🤍 The pressure and expectations are still high, but you’re no longer bracing for impact every Monday. You know what you’re building and how you want to operate.

🤍 You’re no longer weighing up multiple possible futures. You have one clear direction - commercially viable, aligned with what you want, and something you can actually move on.

🤍 Your career supports the life you want to live, rather than constantly competing with it.

🤍 You trust your judgement again. You’re not replaying conversations, second-guessing decisions, or holding back in rooms you’re ready for.

Most clients don’t leave fashion.

They build their true fit in an industry they’ve always loved.

The True Fit™ Journey

This is structured, one-to-one coaching designed to help you understand what’s really going on and move forward intentionally and confidently.

Phase 1: The Pattern Edit

Before we begin, you’ll complete The Pattern Edit: a reflective workbook designed to surface the patterns running through your career so far and where you want to go next.

In our first session, I reflect any emerging themes to you and together, we begin mapping a clear, grounded vision for what you want this next chapter to feel and look like.

This is the foundation for everything that follows. It’s often the first time clients see their situation clearly.

We'll also use my Fit Check Tool™ to define the non-negotiables your career must meet now - the level of challenge, creativity, flexibility and influence required for you to perform at your best.

Phase 2: The Reclaim

With that clarity in place, we focus on what comes next.

We shape a direction that works for you and move through the decisions, conversations, and changes that come with it.

This is where you stop circling the same questions and start moving forward with confidence, with the accountability support you need to stay on track.

Each session builds upon the last and remains fully flexible to what you need most.

“After two decades in the industry, I felt stuck, drained, and unsure where to begin… I now have my own consultancy and a career that feels aligned with my life as a mother and creator.”

— Lu, ex-senior buyer and founder of Luthentic brand consultancy

What Clients Achieve Through The True Fit™

My clients range from junior to senior level, across a wide range of areas within fashion - from buying to PR, and marketing to creative direction.

They leave with a clear direction, the confidence to back themselves, and a way of working that actually fits their life.

This can look like progression within your current role, a career change in the fashion industry, or building something of your own.

Previous client results include:

• Securing a promotion after months of getting knocked back without any feedback as to why
• Launching their own styling business, with clear services, confident pricing and their first clients secured

They’ve found their True Fit.

After two decades in the fashion industry, I knew something had to change, but I didn’t know where to begin. I had a great job on paper and a stable salary, yet I felt disconnected and drained.

Through our sessions, I gained the clarity and courage to launch my own consultancy and build a career that truly reflects who I am.

What’s special about Pippa is not just what she says, but how she holds space. She helped me connect the dots in ways I couldn’t see on my own.

I’m now building a career that feels aligned with my values and the life I actually want to live.

About me

I spent over a decade in the fashion industry, working my way into leadership roles at NET-A-PORTER and MATCHES. From the outside, it looked successful, behind the glossy surface I was doubting myself, pushing through long hours, and questioning whether I could realistically do this for the next 30 years until I retire.

In 2024, I was made redundant. It gave me the space I needed to stop and think properly about what I actually wanted next.

I trained as an ILM Level 7 Executive Coach (EMCC Senior Practitioner) and have since built a portfolio career within the fashion industry, working as both a clienteling consultant and a fashion career coach, with the flexibility, challenge and creativity I didn’t know I’d been missing.

Coaching played a huge role in that shift. It helped me see my options more clearly and trust my own decisions in a way I hadn’t before.

That’s the work I do with my clients now - helping you step back, see your situation properly, and build the confidence to move forward in a way that actually works for you.

I came to coaching wanting a more sustainable work set-up, after finding myself in an all-or-nothing pattern.

Through our sessions, I identified what really mattered to me and where I was making decisions based on other people’s expectations.

I now have a working arrangement that genuinely fits alongside my life.

— Director of Communications at a lifestyle and wellness agency

Ready to redesign what comes next?

Let’s have a confidential chat to explore whether The True Fit™ is the next step for you.

We’ll talk through where you are, what you’re navigating, and whether it feels like the right fit to work together.

Questions about working together?

If yours isn't covered here, drop me a message and we can chat anything through.

  • Most career or business programmes start with tactics - CVs, interview prep, confidence frameworks, positioning - and assume the clarity and self-trust are already there.

The women I work with don’t lack capability or experience. What’s missing is space to properly unpack why things no longer fit and what actually needs to change before the next move makes sense.

The True Fit™ is 1:1, industry-specific, and deliberately slower at the start. We work on the patterns, pressure, and decision-making that have kept you stuck first. That’s why the practical work later - whether that’s senior interviews, negotiating, stepping into a bigger role, or laying foundations for independence - actually lands.

There’s no fixed curriculum and no generic pathway. Every session is shaped around you, your context, and where you’re heading. It’s thoughtful, strategic work that holds up in the real world of fashion.

  • You’re likely ready if:

    • You’re at a tipping point, so know something has to give, and you can’t keep going like this

    • You’re ready to move forward, not sit in the same loop for another year

    • You’re open to being supported and respectfully challenged

    • You have around 7–10+ years’ experience in fashion at a senior level

This probably isn’t right for you if:

    • You want someone to tell you exactly what to do

    • You’re looking for quick surface level fixes rather than deeper change

    • You’re looking for a full business launch programme (this work focuses on clarity and foundations, not building everything at once)

If you’re unsure, the simplest next step is a free, confidential 30-minute chat. We’ll talk through where you are and whether this is actually the right support for you.

  • That’s completely normal - and it’s often the reason people come to this work.

Most clients arrive feeling societal pressure to have it all figured out. They don’t. The confusion around “Is it still fashion? A different role? Going independent?” is usually part of what’s keeping you stuck in the first place.

The first two sessions - The Pattern Edit and The Fit Check - are designed to work this out properly. We surface what you actually need next, not what looks good on paper or what you think you should want.

Once you’re clear on what energises you and what has to be present for work to feel sustainable, the direction becomes much clearer. From there, we tailor the remaining sessions to support the path you’re choosing and build your version of next.

You don’t need to arrive with the answer - we’ll work through that together.

  • The guaranteed outcome is clarity.

Everyone who comes through this work understands themselves better - how they make decisions, where they get stuck, and what they actually want next. Confidence, boundaries, and self-trust improve because that’s what we work on directly.

External outcomes vary. Some clients land senior roles or step into Director-level positions. Others decide not to chase the next title and instead build something of their own. Some do both over time.

What this work gives you is the internal stability to make those decisions properly, rather than reacting from pressure, exhaustion, or fear of getting it wrong.

  • Most people don’t come to this work when things are calm.

The programme is designed around demanding roles and full schedules. We meet every two weeks so you have space between sessions, rather than adding more pressure. After each session, I send reflection questions within 24 hours - usually 20–30 minutes of journaling to help things settle and integrate.

You also have WhatsApp access for moments when something comes up in real time - a difficult conversation, a decision you’re looping on, or a situation where you want to respond differently.

Many clients find that once we start working together, they feel less overwhelmed - not because the job suddenly gets easier, but because they’re clearer, less reactive, and not carrying everything alone.

  • Yes, completely.

Everything we discuss stays between us. I don’t share client details, full names, or anything about our work together with anyone - including your company, colleagues, or other clients.

Any testimonials you see have been shared with explicit consent, and only first names or initials are used (with permission).

This work only works if you feel psychologically safe enough to be honest - including about things that might feel uncomfortable to say out loud about your career, leadership, or the industry. Confidentiality isn’t optional here; it’s fundamental.

  • If you complete the first two sessions and feel this isn’t the right fit for you, you can request a full refund within the first four weeks.

After that point, payments made are non-refundable, but you’re not obliged to continue with future payments if you choose to stop early.

In practice, the workbook and first session usually make it very clear whether this depth of work resonates with you. I’ve never had to process a refund, but the option is there so you can enter the work without feeling trapped.

  • I understand how unpredictable fashion can be.

If you give at least 24 hours’ notice, we can reschedule your session within the programme timeframe. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed entirely, are treated as complete and can’t be rescheduled.

For genuine emergencies - serious illness, bereavement, or major unforeseen situations - we’ll handle it by mutual agreement, regardless of notice.

I’m supportive and flexible where it matters, but this programme works best when both of us are committed and treat the time seriously.

  • No, I work with clients globally via Zoom. As long as we can find session times that work across time zones and you’re comfortable working in English, location isn’t an issue.

  • Clients who get the most from this work usually recognise themselves in a few of these points:

    • They’re thoughtful and self-aware, and open to looking honestly at their patterns

    • They’re ready to make decisions rather than staying in the same loop

    • They take responsibility for following through on the actions we identify together

    • They’re willing to try things differently, even when it feels uncomfortable or unfamiliar

    • They use the space between sessions to reflect, apply what we’ve discussed, and notice what shifts

They don’t need to have everything figured out when we start. What matters is being engaged in the process and prepared to act on the clarity we create together.

If that sounds like you, you’ll get real value from this programme.
